At PJ and Sons, we specialize in supplying, fitting, and manufacturing custom security gates for both residential and commercial properties. Unlike many companies, we don’t stock pre-made gates; instead, each gate we create is made from solid steel bars, meticulously welded together to ensure durability.

The installation of your gate will depend on its location. For instance, if you’re installing a gate in an alleyway, we typically attach it to the surrounding walls—unless one side isn’t suitable, in which case we’ll install a solid steel post for secure attachment.

When choosing a security gate, you can select any color you like. Whether you prefer white to match your front door or black to provide a strong visual deterrent, we can powder coat your gate in your chosen color. If you’re unsure about color options, just let us know, and we’ll provide you with a RAL color chart to help you decide.

Once you’ve chosen your color, we’ll focus on the design. Common designs include gates made from solid box sections or round bars, or a combination of both. If you have a specific design in mind, please send us a picture or drawing, and we’ll do our best to replicate it. Many of our customers opt for designs similar to those of their neighbors.

The type of lock you need depends on the gate’s location and purpose. For a simple garden gate, a latch might suffice, but for a communal alleyway, you might prefer a coded lock.
